About Internal Medicine of Central Florida
Internal Medicine of Central Florida (IMCF) has proudly served The Villages and Lady Lake, Florida community since 2007. Founded by Frank J. Paiano, DO, FACOI, our practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for adults through every stage of life.
Located conveniently at 314 B La Grande Blvd in Lady Lake, FL, within the Plaza Professional Center just before the bridge over Highway 441 near Spanish Springs, IMCF offers personalized primary and internal medicine services with a focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness.
Our Founder – Dr. Frank J. Paiano, DO, FACOI
Dr. Paiano brings decades of experience and a lifelong commitment to patient-centered care. A graduate of St. John’s University and the United States Public Health Service Academy Physician Assistant Program, he began his career as a paramedic with the Oceanside Fire Department.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree Magna Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
In addition to his work at IMCF, Dr. Paiano has served as:
Medical Director for Clinical Clerkships at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Preceptor for the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine
Alternate Trustee for the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA)
Dr. Paiano has also held leadership roles including Chief of Internal Medicine and Family Practice at Leesburg Regional Medical Center (now UF Leesburg) and Chief of Internal Medicine at The Villages Regional Medical Center (now UF Spanish Springs). Additionally, he served as Vice Chairman of Medicine at Leesburg Regional Medical Center and Medical Director of Physician’s Trust Accountable Care Organization.
